Hello and welcome to The Editor’s Connection!

Take some time to read these easy-to-follow instructions to make sure you have a smooth path to success. We’re here to help you, so at any time you can talk to your dedicated and reliable editor through the direct chat or send us a message through the “helpdesk” option in your sidebar.

1. To start a new edit, please click on “Projects” in your side bar in the clients area.

 

 

2. Click on “New Request” next to “Projects.”

 

 

3. Choose the service for your new project.

 

 

4. Fill out the form with as much detailed information as you can. This will ensure that your dedicated and reliable editor will get your video done faster and better. Your editor cannot perform anything that has not been described in the instructions. Click review and then submit your project.

 

 

5. To access the progress of your project and the direct chat with your editor, click on the Project ID Number on the “Projects” section of your customer area.

 

 

6. Once you access the project’s individual area, click on “show more” to see the detailed instructions you submitted. 

 

 

7. If you have any questions or additional instructions, use the direct chat with your editor on the project’s individual area .

 

 

8. Now you can sit back and relax! Your dedicated and reliable editor will get back to you with questions and updates regarding your project. When your editor is done, they will share through the direct chat a link to our video proofing tool, where you can approve the project or request revisions.

Once your dedicated and reliable editor has successfully finished editing your video, they will send you a link to our video proofing tool via the project chat.


1. Here you can watch the video, make comments, draw on the video, and make frame-accurate indications of your preferences.


2. To make revisions, leave a comment on the box at the bottom of the video. The system will ask you to log in with your name and email. You can also share the link with other team members who might need to make revisions to your edit.

 

 

3. You can see the comments you and other team members have made together with timestamps on the side panel and also in the timeline.

 

 

4. You can also use the tools to draw and make notes on the picture of your video.

 

 

5. Once you’re done with your new instructions, change the status to “Needs Review.” and let your editor know through the direct chat in your client area that you’re done making revisions. This will prompt your editor to start working on your revisions. If you missed something, let your editor know through the direct chat in your client area.

 

 

6. Once your revisions are done, your dedicated and reliable editor will share a link with you to the updated video on our video proofing tool. Once you’re happy with the result, change the status to “Approved.”

 

 

7. In the direct chat, your editor will share the final exported files to your edit, just as you requested them to, and they will get to work on your next video.

1. To see all your projects and their status, click on the “Projects” section in the sidebar of your customer area.

 

 

2. To access an individual project and the direct chat with your dedicated and reliable editor, click on the Project ID Number on the “Projects” section of your customer area.

 

 

3. If you need to make more revisions on an approved project, click the “Request Revisions” button at the bottom of the direct chat.  Your editor will pause the current project they’re editing and prepare the revisions you’re requesting.

 

 

4. If you want to put a project on hold or move it down the editing pipeline, contact your dedicated and reliable editor using the direct chat of your project.

 

5. If you want to cancel a project, just let your editor know through the direct chat of your project.

You can buy additional one-time services and monthly add-ons from your sidebar in your customer area.

 

1. Access the add-ons section by clicking on “Buy Add-ons.”

 

 

2. Add the service you want to your cart, head to check out, and complete your purchase.

 

3. If you purchased a one-time service, head to your “Dashboard” and click on “Send Data” to fill out the form with the specific instructions for this one-time service.

 

 

4. If you purchased a recurring service like the Unlimited Royalty Free Media, just let your dedicated and reliable editor know how you want to use it in your current project through the direct chat.

1. If you need help beyond your editor, click on the “Helpdesk” section in your side bar and click new ticket to send us a message. We’ll gladly help you.

 

 

2. If you need to cancel or modify your subscription, send us a message through the “Helpdesk” option in the sidebar of your customer area.
